Hey hillbilly I'm no expert in that area but I have fished Rogers a handful of times. The beach has a nasty shore break in anything greater than .5m so make sure you time your trip well. Has anyone had success flicking round those inchiku jigs when the SB aren't doing the job? Look pretty good to me as an alternative. Last year slow jigs were accounting for half of my catch's, one at 15 pound. Just use them as you would a SB, cast out front slow retrieve. Once its under you bring i...

Where do you guys get your zmans? Watching Scotty get hit after hit and coming up with a whole soft bait made me realise I need to give up on gulp when the cod are about. I was losing a gulp every 10 mins!

She was far from fireing out there, but the fishing is on the way up. No classy on water pics bit this 40cm terahiki will be crumbed and eaten tonight, the wife let me in the front door just for bringing home at least one edible fish!
