Re: Tell me about your paddling pants (If they have a fly)

External adhesive condom catheters are a good solution. I use them diving if I'm wearing a dry suit. Haven't needend to use one on the yak yet. But when I am heading out for really long trips probably will. Just roll it on at home, plug in a flexible hose which you can route wherever. No need to ai...

Re: Tell me about your paddling pants (If they have a fly)

By the way you can get uradomes. They are like condoms with a place for a catheter bag pipe at the tip. Used in rest homes for incontinent old men. Put one of those on and run the pipe down your trouser leg and out though the scupper hole.

Re: Tell me about your paddling pants (If they have a fly)

That's a paddle like mad, beach the yak and down trou! Been there done that! If I can, it is a shite before you go! Cramping due to a poo is not good for paddling or diving!

Re: Tell me about your paddling pants (If they have a fly)

Full one piece wetsuit. No problem, I just go for a "dive" or practice "self rescues" and just "let go, let go" LOL. Shower when I get home.

Heading to Vanuatu in October and staying at Iririki. Hope to get some fishing and speaking while I am there if I can. Anyone here done that before and has some advise?

Dah, that's the plan in the long run but right now the box fits my roof rack when needed to shift flat as my Station Wagon has no tow bar.

Re: Yak Coffin :-)

Glad I made this now as I am in a shared flat and not there often so I can sleep soundly knowing all my gear is locked away. A Tarp or chain lick would not have done. When I have a vehicle with a tow bar then I will make a trailer to fit the Yak Coffin. Will be using it mainly as storage and not tra...

Total Success Plus. Stable and Secure storage for not only the Yak, but also the fishing gear, diving gear and some tools. Awesome.

I am more worried about the Cops stopping me and putting me over their weight bridge and then being fined for being over loaded, LOL.

Re: Yak Coffin :-)

LOL, yep Dad is hoping the roof caves in to prove him right. The Logger thought it was solid as and the weight goes strait on the SW's pillars so no problem. The Box and the Yak are close in weight. Box is only 7mm ply so if someone really wanted to break in they could, but strong enough to handle ...

Re: Off to Whangarei for a special delivery

Interesting. Too bad a local Trader was not supported when he needed it. Still some top of the range Stealths up here that would have given that a run for it's money up here. I wonder who the buyer is.

Re: Yak Coffin :-)

Cool coffin, bro! So what stops someone stealing the whole coffin + kayak? Do you bolt it internally to the house or something? Ultimately that would be the plan or chain it to a post. If they really wanted my Yak that bad, they could just rip the box apart with a hammer and wrecking bar. Just havi...
