I have done a trout jigging 101 video for people wanting to give it a crack. Video was done in a boat but I use the same techniques, gear and sounder when on the kayak. I don't achchor in the kayak but slow paddle to keep the flies in the zone where the fish are, that I have marked on the sounder. h...

Viking Profish 400 C-Tug wheel storage

It has been vexing me for a little while as to where I am going to attach or hide these wheels after a beach launch. All the other parts of the C-tug fit inside the front hatch so just needed to find a home for the wheels. So I had a scratch around the boat bits and some of my farm bits and found a ...

Re: Numb Bum solution?

I tried it out on Lake Rotoiti on the way back from work today and paddled around for a couple of hours. The cushion certainly does make the seat noticeabl...

Re: Numb Bum solution?

Some good feedback there thanks for posting Guys

The kayak is a profish 400 and I am more than happy with it - just the numb bum issue after 2-3 hours of paddling.

I shall see if I can convince the financial controller to allow me to get one of those padded cushions for Xmas.

cheers

Numb Bum solution?

Hi, I recently (a month or two back) purchased an expensive lump of plastic from a guy in Matamata with a view to having a paddle around the Lakes on my way home from work. Bit of exercise after sitting in front of a computer all day. The paddling has been going well apart from the persistent wester...
