Spearfishing from the kayak?

Had a quick search and found some posts but gonna crack on with a new thread. For the years I've fished from a yak I've never ever wanted to get in the water. But now... for some reason after being asked if I would be keen to try spearfishing, I can't get the thought out of my head. I've been asking...

Turn your kayaking hobby into a career... Worth a look! Auckland Outdoor Adventure business opportunity.

Folks... Been a while since I've been on the forum... probably not since G1 had a sex change and took up long walks on the beach instead of kayak fishing. Although, if I recall his kayak fishing was like a long walk on the beach :^) :?:  I work in the employment sector and a sister business of ...

Re: Northland or the Coromandel

No question, North for the big'uns. Coro is stunning as a location but if you can manage the remoteness of North, go there.

You could paddle to the Mokes. I saw awondering drop a Snapper over the side that looked close to 30lb. :^)

Re: Ocean Kayak, Big Game II

Looks awesome... G1 could get back into kayak fishing with this :^) Hey any chance of a clear picture of the seat... pleaaase. Far out, what I'd do to not have to pull my canoe outta m'butt after a distance paddle. Hey Tapp, can we get one of those OK Big Game II seats retro fitted into the 440 mate...

Re: Pants PFD

I had to have a laugh because I tried to run that scenario through my head. I struggle to get my paddle pants off my feet with the tight seal at the ankles. I reckon I would drown attempting that plus leashes and line wrapped around my neck - a bloody train wreck is what pops to mind  But good ...

Panmure Basin - Low Tide

Havent done a TR in years... it seems. So here we go... Gave me ol' mate Mr Trustworthy or best known on here as awondering a shout during the week to see where the fish are. He never puts me wrong and came through a winner again. I said I wouldnt say where but its too good not to share. Panmure Bas...

Re: How should I be Winter Fishing

I think this snippet of a quote about sums it up nicely :y: another thing that works, but is seldom mentioned; just spend more time on the water - if you spend twice as long and are just as effective you'll catch twice as many fish. but generally with more time on the water you'll learn a few things...
