Generally in my opinion, jigging in this harbour has limitations. It is reasonably shallow and to be anywhere with any depth usually means the current is quite quick. I do a reasonable amount of landbased fishing there and we find casting any more than 50m or so your sinker will roll/drag. Now fortu...

Im a keen surfcaster and have been targeting kingies from the sand for a good few years now. Just behind the surfline is where they are mostly caught. The first thing I would do is look at what the shops use with the likes of Burnsco, H&F etc. They have the mobile stands they wheel out every morning which sounds like what you are after. Maybe a little modification so all your gear can fit on it too (Paddle, vest, rods etc on a lower platform. Ask ...
