Re: Narrow Neck 08/04

Well done - very consistent. I have not kayak fished since the birth of child number 3....
RIP Spud. He looked like a good one.

Re: NN - Just for a change.

Nice to see. My wife and I also managed 13 between the two of us today.... unfortunately our 13 were nappy changes - not snapper!

Re: Sorry folks another NN TR

The place fishes well all year. Before I had kids, I used to catch snapper every month of the year there... you just need to change tactics with the seasons.
The boats normally bugger off by May.
Don’t write it off, chaps!

Re: Sorry folks another NN TR

Good stuff! Please keep these TRs coming.... with my third child being 10 days old - my fishing this summer has been limited - so I am living vicariously through these TRs!

Nice to see you boys still at it. We had our third child on Thursday last week... so doubt that I will be fishing for months!

Re: N/N 17-12-2017

Nice to see somebody at least take advantage of this great weather and have a TR for me to read... I have not been able to fish in ages. Two young kids and a very pregnant wife are not conducive to much fishing....

Keep the TRs coming.....

Merry Christmas, all.

Yep, Andrew. Hammers can be inquisitive/aggressive. And no teeth marks? Small mouth. Hammer I reckon on second thoughts.

Re: A little disconcerting

Maybe a juvenile GW? That aggression and persistence that close to the shore (therefore not a mako - makos don’t come close in?)? Not a bronzie - this bloke was not fishing and was not fighting a fish?

If it was the Naki or South Island - I would say 7 gill....
