Re: Chinese reels - Opinions? Experiences?

Had mine four years now ...

Re: Bad Back
Yep I have arthritis in my back. Ive found using a trailer helps with solo launching. I chuck my wheels on before pulling of the trailer.
I also use a foam roller on my back to stretch and aid circulation.

Re: Tips on Buying my first Kayak, what do you think of this one?
Looks good to me, Ive always gotten 2nd hand yaks and they have always been covered in scratches. As long as they are not deep with raised edges its all good. My last 2nd hand kayak looked similar when I got it and it is still going strong 5 years later. Id much rather have a good 2nd hand Viking or...

Ive pulled in snapper with hooks in their mouth and a kahawai with a hook in its throat and the trace and swivel hanging out its mouth. Both were in very healthy condition.

Cheers Mike.
Yep Ive had a few run ins with boaties trying to run or tip me over. Funny bit is they seem taken aback when I confront them on shore.
Good idea about the anchor rope I will make it a habit.

Im getting into spear fishing and want to dive from my kayak. I was wondering if anyone on here does the same and could pass on any knowledge or advice.
