FS: Whispbar and cradles

Upgraded the wagon so these are no longer needed. Had them on an X3 and worked a treat. couple of years old but always washed down. The bars have stayed on the car for the whole time. Cradles came on an off when needed. Cradles slot into the whispbar grooves but also have attachments to go around sm...

Nice work mate. I'm yet to paddle round that area - sailed through there many times. Ideal Kayaking territory. maybe one day!

I like to go into the fish shops and have a bit of chat to the staff for advice, it also makes it easier to hide all my purchases from the wife :D

Re: Advice Newbie

Welcome I've ticked up a lot of purchases from marine deals over a few years. Some great shopping to be had on there and service is great. I usually shop around a bit as different shops have specials on all the time. There's plenty of bigger stores and smaller ones that all have different specialtie...

Coro last weekend

A long time between paddles for me. Playing footy over winter means I dont get a lot of free time to get out. So with the season over and a voucher for a cabin at Papa Aroha expiring shortly... a plan was hatched with Blair and Stu to hit Coro and see what we could muster. Cabin was booked about a m...

Re: The US beckons...

I was over earlier in the year too and found I was no better off looking at reels then at home. Various bits of tackle etc were much lower price.... loaded up on game lures for this season.... (not from the yak :worried: )

Re: Buying gear in the states

cheers all. Probably have left it too late to go the ebay route. Looking at retail on reels better off getting them here - game lures looking very cheap over there so might pick one or two of them up (in the hope I will one day get to tow some, not from the yak). The stores look amazing so will no d...

Buying gear in the states

has anyone got any experience/advice or hints and tips?? I am heading to Orlando with work next week. Have had a look online at some of the stores that I may be able to get to. Taking into account exchange rate doesn't look like reels are any cheaper. Is it worth looking at gear over there or are th...
