Comments: Not the biggest fish in the ocean but a couple of PB’s for me Morris seems pretty stoked too

Date/Time of Capture: 8th March right on high tide – 5:30pm
Location of Capture: 4km east of Maraetai beach
Type of Lure/Bait used: Fresh Kahawai on a flasher rig 5/0 hook size.
Kayak make:Perception – Napali 470
Comments: Half a dozen 15-20cm snapper caught first, all on the bottom hook, then some size arrived about ten minutes before high tide. The bigger fish seemed to like the top hook the most. Totally stoked!, my first successful kayak fishing trip. 6 keepers in all.
